Residential garage doors and openers. That's our whole job.
From one worn roller to a whole new door, we fix it right, explain it plainly and charge a fair price.
Rollers, tracks & off-track doors
Doors that hang crooked, grind or jump the track. We straighten, re-hang, swap rollers and lubricate so it runs quieter.
Openers & remotes
Factory-authorized servicing for Genie and LiftMaster, with parts for all major brands. New openers, remote controls, keypads and safety sensors.
New garage doors
Plain insulated steel or something more ornate: carriage-house styles, window sections and decorative glass, measured and installed by our crew.
Sections & panel replacement
Backed into the door, or a neighbor did? Often we can replace just the damaged sections or panels instead of the whole door.

Door stuck or crooked?
Don't force it. Call us.
- If a spring or cable has broken, the door can be very heavy and may drop. Keep cars, kids and pets clear.
- Don't keep pressing the opener button. It can bend the door or burn out the opener.
- Don't try to adjust springs or cables yourself. They're under serious tension.

Dunwoody Door Lift Co. has been taking care of North Metro Atlanta's garage doors and electronic openers as a family business for over 50 years. We're a small, local crew based right here in Dunwoody, not a call center that hands your job to whoever's free.
Most of our work comes the old-fashioned way: a neighbor tells a neighbor. We'd like to keep earning that, one door at a time.

How do I know if my garage door spring is broken?
Common signs: a loud bang from the garage, a door that suddenly feels very heavy, an opener that strains and stops after a few inches, a visible gap in the coil of a spring above the door, or a door that goes up crooked. If you see any of these, stop using the opener and give us a call.
Should I repair my door or replace it?
Many problems, like springs, cables, rollers and even individual damaged sections, can be fixed without a new door. If the door is badly damaged, very old, or you simply want a new look or better insulation, replacing it can make more sense. We'll give you a straight answer either way.
Do you work on my opener brand?
We're factory-authorized to service Genie and LiftMaster openers, and we can get parts for all major brands. If your opener isn't worth fixing, we can install a new one.
What should I do if my door is stuck open or shut?
Don't force it, and don't try to adjust the springs or cables yourself. They're under a lot of tension. Keep people and cars clear of the door and call us.
